Social Media

Below are examples of social media I have used for The Pit: Sports and Entertainment, The Herald-Palladium and more.

By adding a photo from 2014's Rock On The Range and tagging her, Taylor Momsen shared our tweet about news that The Pretty Reckless was joining ROTR in 2015. The tweet is still blowing up our notifications to this day.

In December 2012, recent Grammy award winners Halestorm brought the Jagermeister Tour to the Royal Oak Music Theatre in the Metro Detroit area. David McDonald (of WXOU) and I had the chance to sit down with Lzzy and Josh two days after the band was nominated for a Grammy. Photos were also taken of the show.

The Devil Wears Prada interview at Mayhem Fest in Detroit (2012)

On July 22, Mayhem Fest made it’s stop in Clarkston, MI at the DTE Music Energy Theatre. David McDonald, host of WXOU’s ‘The Molotov Rocktail,’ and Dylan Dulberg joined forces to take on some interviewing duties. One of said interviews was with Mike Hranica, vocalist and frontman for the metal band The Devil Wears Prada. The guys discuss how Hranica got into music and what influences him and the band as whole, along with tangents on flamingos and tattoos.

I shot and edited this video.

Dax Shepard interview on new movie HIT & RUN

Last weekend, I went to see a media screening of the new movie HIT & RUN, which hits theaters on August 24th. The movie was written and directed by Dax Shepard, who also plays the lead role as Charlie Bronson/Yul Perkins. I had a scheduled interview with the actor about the new movie, and I thought occurred to me:

Why not film part of the interview?

Because it was a spur of the moment thing, we had a poor sound set up (which Dax and I shared a hearty laugh about) and had to make it fairly quick. We didn’t do much to make it appear as a professionally executed attempt, but it was a lot of fun, and Dax enjoyed it. So, with that being said, here is the video. Enjoy!
